On Monday, September 8th, our driver Richard de Zeeuw set off from H.Z. Logistics for a special journey: a test drive with the electric Mercedes-Benz demo truck from AGAM.
The purpose of this test was to explore how a long-distance route performs electrically and to understand the impact on planning and route efficiency. Along the way, the truck was charged multiple times at fast-charging stations, providing valuable insights into charging times and range. Richard describes the truck as “calm and relaxed.”
This hands-on experience gave us important insights into driving comfort, logistics planning, and the feasibility of long international trips with an electric truck.
